Thank you for the great support in covering Parent Helping - we especially look    forward to being outside when the weather cooperates after Daylight Saving Time begins (3/11)-so if you haven’t taken a turn yet this year, April & May aren’t far away!

MIDDLE SCHOOL  FEB. - MAR. 4, ‘12     
As many of you know, my absolute favorite non- church holiday is TODAY - Ground Hog’s Day!  There are so many reasons for celebration on Ground Hog’s Day, if I were to list them all, there would not be any space left on this page!!  However, I cannot let this opportunity pass without telling you that the most important reason I mark Ground Hog’s Day is that of hope – the critter in Pennsylvania comes out of his winter’s sleep to remind us that spring IS just around the corner.  And because I was born in the spring, I cherish the season as one of life, new birth, and lots of rainbows!

SUNDAY MORNINGS

• 11:30 a.m. - noon  Coffee Hour - Great Hall

The wonderful Valentines for our homebound members were mailed this week - thanks for all your efforts!  We’ll be hearing about recovery efforts in Louisiana Feb. 5 from 9:15 - 10:15 so don’t miss this Sunday!  Friends welcome.

SUNDAY EVENINGS
Middle School Fellowship Group (grades 6-8) meets 5:30 - 7 p.m. Marcus Whitman Room (unless noted) for informal recreation and discussion.  Friends invited.

• Friday-Saturday, March 2 - 3   Youth Ski Trip to Mt. Bachelor!!  Registration form enclosed; Early Registrations due 2/19; final deadline Feb. 28!  Plan to attend!!
